IDEA Poster Contest
Delaney Dalrymple won the local and the Indiana State 2023 IDEA Poster Contest. Her poster is now at the 2023 National IDEA Poster Contest. Delaney was a 3rd grader in Miss Patterson’s class at St, Matthews in Mt Vernon when she created her One Water Poster. The Posey County SWCD will award her $100 at the 2024 SWCD Annual Meeting and we can’t wait to get the results from the national level!
2023 4-H Poster Soil and Water Science Winner - Reserve Grand Champion
Charley May and Ciara Shenk created award winning posters for the 2023 Posey County Fair. Their posters were forwarded to the Indiana State Fair in the Soil and Water Science Category and they received blue ribbons at state. They will be invited to the Posey County SWCD Annual Meeting where they will receive a cash award. Great Job and Congratulations!
2023 4-H Forestry Poster Winner - Grand Champion
Julia Commens’ Forestry Poster was awarded the Grand Champion Ribbon at the Posey County Fair and a blue ribbon at the state fair. Congratulations to her on this award! She will be invited to the SWCD Annual Meeting and receive a cash prize.
